Distribution of Rotary Egg Push carts

Distribution of Rotary Egg Push Carts to ten beneficiaries by Rtn Th. Arunkumar Singh, Honble MLA during a programme at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri on 17th May2026 organised by Rotary Club of Imphal and Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal. These egg carts are distributed through Rotary Egg Bank Project supported by National Egg Co-ordination Committee & RID3240. It is worth to mention here that Rotary Egg Bank Project of RC Imphal has been running successfully with humble & generous contributions from Rotarians since Sept2021 benifitting more 1000 childrens at different children homes of Manipur.

• RC Imphal celebrated the 121st Anniversary of Rotary International on 23rd Feb’2026 by visiting the Senior Citizen’s Home at Kongba, Imphal East and having lunch with the inmates of the home and giving gifts. • Past President Rtn. Pramod Jaiswal donated 21 phanek with towels for the inmates. • On this day, four members of RC Imphal namely PP Rtn. Devkumar ($1198), PP Rtn. Rabichandra ($350), PP Rtn. Pramod Chhabra ($100) and PP Rtn Pramod Jaiswal ($100) contributed $350, $ 100 and $ 217to the Rotary Foundation

• Rotary Club of Imphal supported by RIMS, Imphal, Shija Hospital & Research Institute, Imphal, JNIMS, Imphal, Babina Diagnostics, Imphal, R&R Occulus and Sena Athletes Organisation, Kakching Wairi Senapati Leikai organised a Rotary Mega Health Camp at Kakching Public School, Kakching Wairi, Kakching District on 28th Dec’2025 benefitting about 480 persons. • A CYCLOTHON for ‘Organ Donation’ was also organised on the same day to promote organ donation to save lives supported by RIMS, Imphal and Manipur Adventure and Mountain Biking Association (MAAMBA) participated by about 50 cyclists from RIMS, Imphal to Kakching. Leihaotombi Devi Memorial Artisan of the Year Award sponsored by Rtn. Dr. Th. Sudhiranjan and Rtn. Dr. N. Anita Devi was conferred to Pukhrambam Premchandra Singh of Kakching Ningthou Leikai, the 2nd (Late) Chongtham Ongbi Kalabati Devi Memorial Rotary Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award sponsored by Rtn. Rotary Cyclothon on World Polio Day

Rotary Club of Imphal and Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal supported by Manipur Adventures and Mountain Biking Association, Manipur (MAAMBA) organized ‘ROTARY CYCLOTHON’ as a part of observation of ‘World Polio Day’2025’ on 24th Oct’2025 at Imphal which was participated by more than a hundred cyclists to spread the message of eradicating polio from the world. The Cyclothon was flagged off from Kangla Western Gate, Imphal by Past President Rtn. Dr. Th. Dhabali Singh and cyclists rode through important public places across Imphal city and culminated at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri. Cyclists wore T-shirts printed with various logos of polio eradication programme. Local media has given a wide coverage of the programme.

Rotary Teachers Training Program

Rotary Club of Imphal organised a two days ‘Teachers Training Programme’ under TEACH programme of India Literacy Mission from 8th to 9th Oct’2025 at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri. 90 school teachers from 53 different schools under Zone-I, Zone-II, ZEO, Wangoi of Directorate of Education (S), Manipur had successfully participated in the said two days training programme. Shri Bisheshwar Khumukcham, Additional Director (Valley), Department of Education (S), Government of Manipur graced the valedictory function as Chief Guest on 9th Oct’2025. Shri Y. Hemchandra Singh, Zonal Education Officer, Zone I, Imphal West, Shri Arambam Anilkumar, Zonal Education Officer, Wangoi Zone, Imphal West, Rtn. Dr. Th. Digel Singh, Rtn. Prof. Maibam Chourjit Singh, CLCC,Rtn. Okram Sonamani Singh were the presidium members during the valedictory function. Rotary Club of Imphal joined observation of World Cerebral Palsy Day-2025 organised by Manipur Spastic Society, Manipur on 6th Oct2025 on the theme Unique and United at Imphal. During the programme, RC Imphal, under its community service project, donated football kits worth Rs 49,000 comprising of player shirt and pant (2sets)10 pairs, football boots (10 nos.), player caps (13 nos.), players travel bag (13 nos.), player socks (2 pairs)10 nos., track suits (13 nos.) along with daily allowances for players worth Rs 28,000 to Manipur Cerebral Palsy (CP) Football Team participating in the 3rd National CP Football Championship2025 held at GSUDA Stadium, Campal, Goa during Oct2025.

• The 50th Rotary on the Spot Painting Competition ’2025, as part of vocational service of Rotary Club of Imphal, was organised on 14th Sept’2025 at Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri. The painting competition was organised in two groups namely, Group-A (Class III-VI) on the theme ‘A Clean Environment’ and Group-B (Class VII to X) on the theme ‘Peace & Integrity among us’. RC Imphal hands over livelihood tools

• RC Imphal donated items/ tools that could enhanced the livelihood of few persons who had undertaken transformative plastic surgery successfully at the Dept. of Plastic Surgery, RIMS, Imphal. Items included one sewing machine for a lady with deformities, welding set for a person in relief camp with burn injury who is a welder by profession, two electric saw sets for two male survivors, one tool box for a vehicle handyman, four school bags for four school children and a shawl for a lady. Gift items were also handed over to persons who had undergone successful plastic surgery at the dept. as goodwill gestures of motivating them during both physical and emotional healing. • Doctors and nurses involved in these successful plastic surgeries were also handed over gifts as a token of appreciation for their humane services. Let us help all individuals who had accidentally suffered from burn injuries with love and care.

Rotary Blood Donation Program,

• Rotary Club of Imphal organised Rotary Blood Donation Program, as a part of observation of National Doctors Day at RIMS, Imphal on 1st July2025. About 20 units of blood were donated by Rotarians & voluntary blood donors as the first service project on the first day of New Rotary Year 2025-26. Eatables & sweets were handed over to Doctors as well as patients at Regional Cancer Centre, RIMS, Imphal. • Past President Rtn Pramod Jaiswal donated blood for 50th time. PP Rtn Pramod Chhabra (22nd time), Club President, Rtn Dr Digel (5th time) while Rtn Sony (29th time) and Rtn Sarika (7th time), both husband and wife, have also been generous blood donors of the club. • The programme was widely covered by print and electronic media of the state.
