• Rotary Club of Imphal honored five school teachers with Nation Builder Award under TEACH programme of India Literacy Mission during observation of International Literacy Day’ Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri on 8th Sept’2025. • Nation Builder Award winners for 2025 are (i) S. Radha Devi of Thongju Jr. High School (ii) H. Tondon Devi of Awang Ngairangbam Primary School (iii) Elangbam Rameshwar Singh of Sekmaijin High School (iv) Moirangthem Kiranmala Devi of Taobungkhok Upper Primary School and (v) Shamurailatpam Premita Devi of Lamdeng High School. • Prof. N. Lokendra Singh, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Manipur University, graced the function as Chief Guest and congratulated all the award winners and also thanked Rotary Club of Imphal for motivating the school teachers through such programme. He stated that International Literacy Day is observed every year on September 8 to raise awareness about the importance of literacy for individuals and society.
